La responsabilità della divisa
La responsabilità di portare una divisa di tutore dell'ordine pubblico, dovrebbe essere la prima e più importante cosa da insegnare alle reclute di carabinieri, polizia etc.
E' facile approfittarsi del potere che quell'abbigliamento e la relativa funzione danno.
Senza citare "Indagine su un cittadino al di sopra di ogni sospetto", o i troppi casi Cucchi, Aldrovandi etc., basta leggersi questo (link), se non si ha avuto la sventura di averne una conoscenza diretta anche solo per piccoli episodi.

La prima neve - di Andrea Segre
Le cose che hanno lo stesso odore devono stare insieme.
Le due solitudini, di un bambino e di un profugo, si trovano nel bosco e ne escono quando cade la prima che rende tutto nuovo, innocente, diverso.
Andrea Segre non sbaglia dopo il suo film d'esordio "Io sono Li".
La prima neve, ti mette in pace con la vita e pure con il cinema.

A Separation - written and directed by Asghar Farhadi
A Separation (جدایی نادر از سیمین, translit. Jodái-e Náder az Simin), written and directed by Asghar Farhadi is one of the best films I’ve seen this year. It’s about Nader and Simin, an upper-middle class couple in contemporary Iran.
Simin wants to get divorced in order to leave the country; her husband refuses; their 11 years old daughter is caught in the middle.
The plot follows what happens when the wife moves out of the family home and Nader has to hire a carer for his elderly father, who suffers from Alzheimer’s.
The script is clear and mysterious at the same time; it appears extremely simple on the surface, but unravels a whole series of topics and debates that can’t possibly leave anybody untouched - and unsurprised.
The film is shot with great restraint but never appears mannered; Farhadi uses hand-held cameras to get as close as possible to the core of the story, and powerfully captures some rich, naturalistic performances to suit the strong, complex characters.
I don’t know that much about contemporary Iran, but the film struck me as coming from a very honest and deep place within the country and its culture; its portrayal of gender and class relations is nuanced and sophisticated, and never falls into the easy traps of either sanctimonious accusation or sentimentalism to which many films of this kind are prone.
I have a lot more to say about it, but it’s still sinking in, and it’s really one of those cases when the less you know about it before seeing it, the more you will get into it. Go see it.

« Sono incazzato nero e tutto questo non lo accetterò più! »
« Sono incazzato nero e tutto questo non lo accetterò più! » urlava il bravissimo Finch nel celeberrimo film di Lumet: Quinto Potere. Sembrano a posteriori quella sceneggiatura, quella frase urlata e ripetuta come un mantra i reali ispiratori del movimento mondiale degli indignati.
Vi ricordate che fine fece? Vi ricordate che dopo il successo iniziale gli indici d'ascolto cominciarono a calare?
Certo quella del film era la parodia e pure la critica feroce del mondo dei media che in una qualche misura già preparavano la purea umana flessibile e malleabile funzionale alla globalizzazione.
Il movimento degli indignati senza politica finirà in un vicolo cieco, in una rappresentazione mediatica, sterile e grottesca non della rivoluzione (per carità, chi prentende tanto?), ma di un qualsiasi più semplice e più realistico miglioramento sociale, anche minimo.
Ci accontentiamo del grottesco oramai, come se fosse veramente meglio di niente.

Il concerto
Non vedo l'ora di rivederlo. Mi commuovono la musica di Tchaikovsky e la dolcezza e bellezza di Melanie Laurent.

Things that people who shine can see.
Well, you know, Doc, when something happens, you can leave a trace of itself behind. Say like, if someone burns toast. Well, maybe things that happen leave other kinds of traces behind. Not things that anyone can notice, but things that people who shine can see. Just like they can see things that haven’t happened yet. Well, sometimes they can see things that happened a long time ago. I think a lot of things happened right here in this particular hotel over the years. And not all of ‘em was good.
